The Kenyan Love & Hospitality

Meet Edward Ndumbu. When we walked into the Rafiki Loundge, we sat at a table next to Edward. He was done with his meal and was about to leave. But when he heard that Mohamed brought us to the restaurant for a Kenyan cultural experience, Edward stayed to make us feel at home. Both Mohamed and Edward gave us a taste of the Kenyan love and hospitality. And we left wanting more, so much that we plan to have from now on a monthly meeting with them at the same place.

One of the aspects of the Kenyan culture that Edward offered great insights about is their love for community life. And this is this love for community that brings him, like Mohamed and his family, to Rafiki Lounge, almost every Sunday.
